National Adaptation Plans – Training and Consultation among South Asia Policy makers

Policy Makers with multi-disciplinary background will be invited to participate in the technical sessions to:

  • share best practices and steps that need to be followed at the local and national levels for putting into 10-year roadmap for adaptation to climate change, through a consultative approach materializing into NAPs;
  • map the key sectors that need to be prioritized in the respective countries and criteria to shortlist the sectors based on vulnerability due to climate change; and
  • Initiate regional co-operation and coordination through exchange of knowledge, skills and resources for strengthening climate actions across South Asian Countries.

About 20 policy-makers from the sub-region are expected to participate.
